ñ  We started with a comment made by Head(Marketing)-Sony Ericsson in Brand Equity
“Deliver assignments on deadlines,Respect the deadlines”-These were the learnings he got from his B-School experience. At the same time it was advised to read Brand Equity on regular basis.

ñ  Sir also shared an example of  “Spoof Advertisement” by Bajaj Electricals and how it was not expected by a company like Bajaj.

ñ  Apart from this we learned about some more pricing methods like-
1.      Target Based Pricing, eg-Amway
2.      Value Based Pricing,eg-DTH
3.      Volume Based Pricing
4.      Demand Based Pricing
5.      Dependent Pricing,eg-Petrol's price is dependent upon the price of crude oil.
6.      Geographical Based Pricing

ñ  Againg we Discussed about “How important a recap is?”

Note- Come prepared with Crown T.V. Case study along with a 1pg write-up for next session.
